Funded by Health Education England, The London Med Summer School is an online programme which brings together four of London's medical schools (King’s College London, Queen Mary University of London, St George's University of London, and University College London) to give 75 Year 12 students from across England an opportunity to find out what it is like to study medicine in London.

Working with patients and student ambassadors, participants will gain a greater understanding of the realities of being a doctor and the skills needed to succeed.

The main summer school programme will take place from Monday 17th July to Friday 21st July via Zoom.

The programme also includes the following additional virtual events, which participants are required to attend:

- Wednesday 28th June - Launch Event

- Wednesday 5th July - Why Medicine and Student Life in London

- September (date tbc) - Admissions Q & A

- October (date tbc)- Alternatives to Medicine

- November (date tbc) - Mock Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs)
