Discover Bath is a free event for prospective Year 12 students from Widening Participation backgrounds to experience a taste of first-year life and study at the University of Bath, together with the opportunity to gain an alternative offer.
The free-of-charge event includes on-campus accommodation, free meals, a programme of academic sessions and fun social activities.
Discover Bath is available to all Year 12 (or equivalent) students who are academically able to study at Bath in their chosen subject and meet our widening participation criteria (please see the link for further information).
The Science and Engineering residential will be Monday 1st August to Thursday 4th August, and the Social Sciences and Management & Business residential will be from Monday 8th August to Thursday 11th August.
Student who complete Discover Bath, obtain a pass mark for their activity log and self-reflection task and subsequently apply to and receive an offer from Bath will receive an alternative offer which is typically one grade below our standard typical offer.
