The Nuffield Research Placements Programme for year 12 STEM students during the summer holidays of 2022.
This FREE programme consists of some online preparatory skills building and then 2 – 3 weeks of engagement with a professional researcher (hopefully face to face – Covid permitting) in local industry, university or government organisation, who will support the student to carry out and write up their own research project.
This opportunity gives students the chance to find out more about careers in STEM and in research. It is a fantastic experience to be able to put on a UCAS or job application, and will make Nuffield students stand head and shoulders above their competitors. Eligible students are supported financially by the Nuffield bursary, and all Nuffield students receive full daily transport costs to and from their placement location.
