Uni of Bristol 'Explore' Taster Events 2021 (Yr 21, 14th - 18th June, limited places apply asap)

Ever wondered what it's like to study at the University of Bristol? Want to know more about the subjects that are taught?

If so, come along to our virtual Explore events to get a taste of what life is like at the University of Bristol!

Our Explore events offer students the option to attend subject taster sessions in a range of subjects, allowing them to, for example, discuss maths equations with a lecturer or talk about essay writing skills with a History student ambassador!

The events are academic taster sessions for Year 12 students.

There will be over 20 taster sessions across a variety of subject areas through the week.

Students accepted onto the course will receive preliminary material to explore in their own time the week before the events, in order to help prepare you for the seminars.

The events are running 14th – 18th June 2021 with 2 sessions each day starting at 4.30pm and 6pm.

Take a look at the poster here and our short Explore video.

Due to a limited number of places available, we may have to limit numbers to the sessions and will prioritise applications from students who meet our widening participation criteria.

These include, but are not limited to, being eligible for Free School Meals, being Care Experienced and attending a state school.

Explore events are running the week before our University open week, so it's a great opportunity to find out about specific subjects before you come along to our Open Week events to find out more about life as a student in Bristol.

If you have any questions email uob-tasterevents@bristol.ac.uk.
