Careers in Food & Nutrition within the NHS and what is Dietetics?
This is your opportunity to come and hear from the experts at Birmingham Community Health Trust.
The aims of the session are to:-
To educate young people on the role of Dietitians and Dietetic Assistants and the diversity of the department and Dietetic job roles at BCHC
To outline the different pathways to becoming a Dietitian and a Dietetic Assistant
To give practical examples of the daily life of a Dietitian or Dietetic Assistant at BCHC
To give examples of the types of patients that Dietitians and Dietetic Assistants may see
To showcase some of the equipment that Dietitians and Dietetic Assistants may use for their role
This great opportunity is open to but not limited to, young people studying health and social care, food and nutrition and science and technology

We provide high quality community and specialist services within Birmingham and the West Midlands. We deliver over 100 clinical services, out in peoples homes and in over 200 hospitals, health centres and clinics. We provide services for adults, children, people with learning disabilities, those with rehabilitation needs and also dental services.
